The House

House of Highland is an archival house centered on heritage, material culture, and symbolic design.

The House brings together textile studies, archival image works, and collected objects rooted in restraint, atmosphere, and historical continuity.

Its work draws from Scottish textile tradition, historic interiors, museum collections, and the visual language of preservation.

Some works originate as photographed material studies. Others are digitally constructed archival compositions developed through contemporary image-making processes.

The House does not attempt to recreate the past.

It exists to study, preserve, and reinterpret its material language through modern form.

What enters the archive is selected carefully and held with intention.

Nothing is produced for volume. Nothing is issued without reason.
